KLIPPEL and Warkwyn Japan enter new distribution partnership in Japan

New Distribution Partnership in Japan

KLIPPEL GmbH is pleased to announce a restructuring of its distribution network in Japan. Beginning in May 2026, Warkwyn Japan, a division of MISCO Japan, will become the exclusive distributor for Klippel hardware and software solutions in Japan, providing sales, support, and application expertise for Klippel’s industry-leading measurement systems. The agreement was signed at the end of April 2026.

Warkwyn Japan is an acoustical test and measurement company serving customers across Japan with advanced measurement equipment and specialized engineering services. The organization builds on the successful North American partnership between KLIPPEL and Warkwyn, the business unit of MISCO – Minneapolis Speaker Company, which has represented and supported Klippel products in the USA, Canada, and Mexico for many years.

With its dedicated focus on the audio industry, Warkwyn Japan combines deep application knowledge with localized customer support and technical expertise. The company operates in close alignment with Warkwyn’s proven North American business model, supporting audio companies with high‑precision acoustic analysis and equipment sales and service.

Stronger Focus on the Japanese Audio Market

KLIPPEL would like to thank Toyo Corporation for the long-standing and trusted partnership over the past decades. As TOYO continues to focus on its core business areas across a broad range of measurement technologies, both companies agreed that a more specialized distribution structure would better support future development and customer needs.

Through the partnership with Warkwyn Japan, KLIPPEL aims to strengthen customer engagement in Japan and provide even more focused support for the electroacoustic industry. The company operates with a dedicated local focus and customer engagement model, ensuring clients can confidently collaborate on sensitive development projects while benefiting from best-in-class measurement technologies and technical expertise. The Warkwyn Japan office / laboratory in central Tokyo will be devoted to both demonstrating and training on Klippel’s primary products, including a fully functional Near Field Scanner (NFS) and an SCN Near Field Add on (SCN-NF). The office will also include demonstration capabilities of Klippel Control Sound (KCS) technology, a new paradigm in loudspeaker design.

“Warkwyn has been our highly competent and reliable partner in the United States for many years. We are therefore very pleased to expand this partnership and provide all Klippel users in Japan with the high-quality and extended customer support that Warkwyn is known for in the U.S., including calibration services, measurement services, and technical consulting,” concluded Benjamin Barth, CEO of KLIPPEL GmbH.

“We are pleased to expand our collaboration with KLIPPEL by establishing Warkwyn Japan as a dedicated resource for customers in the region,” said Aki Isoi, Managing Director of MISCO Japan. “This agreement allows us to bring industry-leading measurement technology and localized technical support closer to our customers, helping them accelerate development and achieve superior acoustic performance.”

Warkwyn Japan will offer sales and pre-sales consultation, training, calibration, testing, and engineering support services. In addition, the company will also support customers in the implementation and optimization of Klippel’s KCS technology. With extensive experience in transducer development and acoustic engineering, the Warkwyn team offers application-specific expertise across a wide range of OEM industries.

Experienced Leadership and Technical Expertise

The new organization is led by a highly experienced international team with deep expertise in acoustics, transducer development, and customer support.

  • Aki Isoi, Managing Director of MISCO Japan and Warkwyn Japan, leads the strategic expansion in Japan and brings extensive experience in OEM partnership development and company leadership.
  • Dan Digre, CEO of MISCO, has established the company as a leader in advanced loudspeaker engineering and acoustic development utilizing Klippel technologies. Under his leadership, Warkwyn has served as the exclusive representative of Klippel in North America since 2015.
  • Kent Peterson, General Manager of Warkwyn America, oversees sales, marketing, and technical services in the acoustic R&D sector and works closely with customers on the development and optimization of high-performance transducers and loudspeaker systems.
  • The local Japanese team is further strengthened by experienced technical specialists Yuki Kameoka, a well-known Klippel expert in Japan and Makoto Yamaguchi, both of whom bring extensive expertise in acoustic measurement, sound engineering, customer support, and technical assistance.

With this new partnership, KLIPPEL and Warkwyn Japan look forward to supporting customers in Japan with industry-leading technologies, dedicated local expertise, and an even stronger focus on the needs of the audio industry.
